Call for Papers

The ASEE North Central Section invites you to submit abstracts for the 2021 ASEE NC Conference hosted virtually by The University of Toledo on March 19-20, 2021. Authors will be invited to submit full-length manuscripts for presentation at the conference and inclusion in its proceedings. Papers addressing the conference theme will have first priority and may include additional topics related to the following:

  • Innovative Curricula or Courses
  • First Year Engineering Programs
  • Engineering Diversity, Equity, and Inclusiveness
  • Distance Learning and  Blended Approaches
  • Recruitment and Retention
  • K-12 Outreach and Learning Communities
  • Integration of Professional  Skills
  • Core Curriculum
  • Ethics and Professional Development
  • Cross Disciplinary Practices
  • Laboratory Courses and other Hands-On Experiences
  • Industry Partnerships
  • Effective and Innovative Teaching Strategies and Technologies
  • Capstone Design Courses, Undergraduate Research, and Student Industry Experiences
  • ABET Accreditation

Papers will be accepted based on a peer review of manuscripts. Authors are expected to present their papers at the conference to facilitate the transfer of knowledge through discussion and debate. All accepted papers presented by a registered author will be included in the conference proceedings.
